Although practising in London, Howard lives in Berkshire with the two ladies in his life: his wife of more than 40 years and his Springer Spaniel, Nell.
Howard was born in London and studied law at the London School of Economics (LSE). He also taught law at the University of Canterbury in New Zealand, and then at LSE, before commencing full time practice as a barrister.
When not working, he relaxes by playing with his grandchildren, messing about in a boat on the River Thames, reading and photography.
